What to Expect
This session is divided into two synergistic practices:
1. The Release (Myofascial Unwinding) We begin by targeting the body's fascia—the continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds our muscles, bones, and joints. Using specialized props like therapy balls, foam rollers, and yoga blocks, we will apply sustained pressure to specific trigger points.
The Goal: To break up adhesions, rehydrate the tissues, improve your range of motion, and alleviate chronic aches and pain.
2. The Reset (Restorative Integration) Once the physical tension has been released, we transition into the "Reset" phase. This portion of the class focuses on down-regulating your central nervous system through gentle, restorative yoga postures and guided breathwork.
The Goal: To shift the body out of "fight or flight" mode and into "rest and digest," allowing the benefits of the physical release to fully integrate.
